1. Great Wall of China (China)

- A massive wall stretching over 13,000 miles, originally built to protect Chinese states from invasions and raids. Its construction began as early as the 7th century BC.



2. Petra (Jordan)

- An archaeological site in Jordan, famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Petra was the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom around the 4th century BC.



3. Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

- A colossal statue of Jesus Christ overlooking Rio, built between 1922 and 1931. It stands 98 feet tall and is a symbol of Christianity around the world.



4. Machu Picchu (Peru)

- An ancient Incan city located high in the Andes Mountains, built in the 15th century. It’s known for its sophisticated dry-stone construction and breathtaking views.



5. Chichen Itza (Mexico)

- A large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya civilization. The Kukulkan Pyramid is its most iconic structure, a marvel of astronomy and architecture.



6. Roman Colosseum (Rome, Italy)

- The largest amphitheater ever built, constructed in AD 70–80. It hosted gladiatorial contests and public spectacles in ancient Rome.



7. Taj Mahal (Agra, India)

- A stunning white marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, completed in 1653. It’s a symbol of eternal love.
